TORONTO, Canada (Badman Records) - Toronto based singer/songwriter, Hayden will be touring the U.S. this fall, accompanied by a full band, in support of his recent release, "Elk-Lake Serenade" (Badman Recording Co.) Says
Filter magazine, "Hayden's Elk-Lake Serenade turns despair into sweet oblivion." Having recently toured in support of fellow Canadian,
Sarah Harmer, Hayden now returns to the East Coast and Midwest to headline with the backing of the Elk-Lake Serenaders.
Hayden's debut "Everything I Long For" was released on Outpost / Geffen in 1996, finding placement on many reviewers' Top10 lists for the year. He followed up with "The Closer I Get" in 1998, touring Europe, the US and Japan. After a three-year silence, the compelling "Skyscraper National Park" (Badman Recording Co.) was released in the winter of 2002, bringing Hayden more international praise and placement on Top 10 lists at radio and press.
Later that year, Hayden's intimate performance at a magical hometown Toronto, tour-concluding concert was captured and released as the double CD "Live at Convocation Hall" (Badman Recording Co.)
"Elk-Lake Serenade" brings Hayden back to the fore of the singer/songwriter genre, featuring classic Hayden-style "story" songs, beautiful ballads and infectious tunes like "Don't Get Down" and "Hollywood Ending."
