NEW YORK (Jive Records) - Jive recording artist Mobb Deep debut at number four on this week's Billboard Top 200 charts. Amerikaz Nightmare is album number six for the Queensbridge, NY duo, who celebrate their 10th anniversary in the music business this year.

Amerikaz Nightmare has received rave reviews in all music press. Most critics agree that this is one of the best albums the group has delivered in their decade long career. The album features production by Mobb Deep's Havoc, The Alchemist, Lil Jon, Kanye West and Red Spyda.
It also features appearances by Jadakiss, Nate Dogg and Noyd.

Meanwhile, the second single Real Gangstaz, produced by Lil Jon, was added yesterday at thirty-five Urban Crossover stations, including WAMO in Pittsburgh, WEDR in Miami, WJLB in Detroit and KKDA In Dallas. The song is also ranking number nineteen at WQHT - Hot 97 in New York.

During the last couple of years, Havoc and Prodigy kept busy with new ventures and projects. Prodigy's first DVD movie "Murda Musik" was released on April 6. The group also released the mix-tape album "Free Agents," that filled the gap between their last project and their highly anticipated new release.
Havoc, who's responsible for the production of all the classic tracks that made Mobb Deep one of the most original and groundbreaking groups in hip hop, stayed in the studio. One of his latest creations, Why by Jadakiss, is currently one of the most played and critically acclaimed tracks in hip hop.

Mobb Deep has recently been on the covers of underground publications Elemental and On The Ave, as well as featured in The Source, XXL, Vibe, America, King, Complex, Scratch, Black Beat and more. Album reviews will run in Vibe, The Source, XXL, Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, Billboard, AP. Mobb Deep appeared, so far, on Showtime At The Apollo and Last Call With Carson Daly.
