NEW YORK (Capitol Records) - On November 16, Capitol Records will release POWERBALLIN', the sophomore album from St. Louis rapper Chingy. Smash lead single "Balla Baby" goes to radio in early September; directed by Jeremy Rall, the companion video shoots in Los Angeles next week. Details about the album's special guests and track producers as well as a complete track listing to follow soon.

Chingy's 2003 debut album Jackpot, which featured three smash singles ("Right Thurr," "Holidae In," and "One Call Away'), debuted No 2 on the Billboard Top 200, remains a Top 40 Rap album and is RIAA certified three times platinum.
In addition, Chingy's video for "Holidae In" received an MTV Video Music Award nomination for Best Hip Hop Video; the 2004 MTV Video Music Awards will be broadcast live from Miami on August 29.
