R.E.M. Charlie Mars' eponymous V2 records debut was released on May 18th to overwhelming critical acclaim. The Mississippi native's first single" Gather The Horses" is peppered with his "haunted, ethereal tenor and mired in swampy piano," said Tracks Magazine. Rolling Stone called his debut "big, beautiful rock from Mississippi".
Charlie continues to hone his tremendous live act. As he zig zags across the country, raising the roof at venue after venue, he is cultivating a groundswell of loyal fans.
