Thorns displays her chops by creating a stellar remix of soul diva Anita Baker's 1987 Grammy-award winning single, "Sweet Love." She also covers the 1965 number 1 R&B single "Shotgun" by Jr. Walker & the All Stars. As opposed to her hard-hitting, rocking single "Believe (Power of Love)," the singer slows it down to show her softer side on the sentimental ballad "Around."
