Ashanti's Latest Single "Never Should Have" To Be Featured On Season Finale Of "Army Wives"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ UMPG) Grammy-winning UMPG artist and songwriter Ashanti's latest single "Never Should Have" will be featured prominently in the finale of the seventh season of Army Wives, the popular television show in which Ashanti also stars as the character Latasha Montclair. The season finale will air on Lifetime this Sunday, June 9th, at 9 p.m.

In addition to being featured on the show, Ashanti also recently released a music video for "Never Should Have," and the single will appear on her upcoming album Braveheart, which is set to be released on Ashanti's own record label Written Entertainment on July 30th. It's also currently available for purchase on iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play.

Ashanti released her platinum-certified debut album Ashanti in 2002, which launched a number of successful singles, including "Foolish," which spent ten weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. She followed up her debut album with Chapter II in 2003, Concrete Rose in 2004, and The Declaration in 2008. Outside of music, she's also developed a successful career as an actress, appearing in the movies Coach Carter and John Tucker Must Die as well as television shows like "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch," among others.
