(Launch) - Alan Jackson and Kenny Rogers have been nominated in the performer category for the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. The winner will be inducted into the Hall of Fame, located in Macon. The show, which will be held on Sept. 15 in Atlanta, will feature a performance by Jackson, who is a native of the town of Noonan. The museum honors artists who have called Georgia home at some point in their lives. Previous Hall of Famers include Chet Atkins, Bill Anderson, Brenda Lee, Ronnie Milsap, Gram Parsons, Travis Tritt and Trisha Yearwood.
