Ear Training With Jordan Rudess

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Roadrunner Records) Dream Theater keyboardist Jordan Rudess has developed a new app, EarWizard, which will assist musicians - and, really, anyone with ears - with ear training. Says Jordan, "Ear training is the single most important thing that musicians of any level can do. I have a passion for creating effective ways to help people develop their musical ears! EarWizard is a result of my desire to offer a really fun and engaging experience that will challenge and entertain musicians and non-musicians alike!"

EarWizard trains your ear while improving your memory skills. The user must repeat back a sequence of chords which gets longer with each round of play. As you improve your skills, the visuals disappear and you will have to depend on your ear! Start off in EASY mode with only a few chords on screen and with practice, you will ultimately reach the hardest level where you will have seven chords on screen and be playing against the clock! The app features videos of Jordan playing each chord, multiple keys and modes, speed control, a chart that allows you to see and hear the note spelling of all chords in the selected key, video rewards, and more.
