BOSTON, MA. (Top40 Charts) Jazz pianist, composer and recording artist Matt
Savage is releasing the first single from his upcoming album, A Bigger Celebration, on Wednesday, July 17. The single, which is the title track from the CD, will be available on iTunes.

Matt composed and arranged the single as well as nine additional new songs on the album, which is scheduled for release in September. An impressive line-up of musicians joins Matt on A Bigger Celebration including tenor saxophone great Jerry Bergonzi, bassist Bruce Gertz, drummer Richie Barshay (of Herbie Hancock/Chick Corea fame) and special guest Mark Zaleski (alto/soprano saxophone). Ten-time Grammy-winner Tom Bates and Latin Grammy-nominated John Weston engineered A Bigger Celebration, and Grammy-nominated Jonathan Wyner produced the album.
A recent graduate of Berklee College of Music, Matt will be performing
September 28 at Boston's Berklee BeanTown Jazz Festival which is celebrating "Jazz, the Next Generation." Saxophone star
Bobby Watson will be joining the Matt
Savage Quartet for this special appearance. Matt's CD Release Concerts are also scheduled for the Fall and will be announced in the near future.
