Matt Savage Announces New Single, "A Bigger Celebration"
BOSTON, MA. (Top40 Charts) Jazz pianist, composer and recording artist Matt Savage is releasing the first single from his upcoming album, A Bigger Celebration, on Wednesday, July 17. The single, which is the title track from the CD, will be available on iTunes.

"The single, 'A Bigger Celebration,' is a perfect song to kick off my new album release because it captures the optimistic message of this compilation of music"

Matt composed and arranged the single as well as nine additional new songs on the album, which is scheduled for release in September. An impressive line-up of musicians joins Matt on A Bigger Celebration including tenor saxophone great Jerry Bergonzi, bassist Bruce Gertz, drummer Richie Barshay (of Herbie Hancock/Chick Corea fame) and special guest Mark Zaleski (alto/soprano saxophone). Ten-time Grammy-winner Tom Bates and Latin Grammy-nominated John Weston engineered A Bigger Celebration, and Grammy-nominated Jonathan Wyner produced the album.

A recent graduate of Berklee College of Music, Matt will be performing September 28 at Boston's Berklee BeanTown Jazz Festival which is celebrating "Jazz, the Next Generation." Saxophone star Bobby Watson will be joining the Matt Savage Quartet for this special appearance. Matt's CD Release Concerts are also scheduled for the Fall and will be announced in the near future.

"The single, 'A Bigger Celebration,' is a perfect song to kick off my new album release because it captures the optimistic message of this compilation of music," says Matt. "From my college journey to performing in far-off countries, cultural influences have found their way into my life and music and that is definitely an experience worth celebrating."
