NASHVILLE, TN. (RCA) - The RCA Label Group-Nashville today announces the signing of performer/songwriter Keith Anderson as the newest artist to join RLG's Arista Nashville imprint. An Oklahoma native, Anderson has earned a local following performing in and around Nashville for several years, winning the 10th Annual Jim Beam Country Band Search in 2002, and also earning recognition as a songwriter, co-penning the Grammy-nominated Garth Brooks/George Jones collaboration, "Beer Run (B Double E Double Are You In?)," as well as "The Bed," which appears on Gretchen Wilson's best-selling album debut. RLG Senior VP of A&R Renee Bell enthuses, "I've been watching Keith for over two years now, and his music and sound hit home with the core country music audience, Middle America. His music has so much energy, and it's so much fun, it makes you feel good, and I couldn't feel better welcoming him to the RLG family." The first single from Anderson's forthcoming debut album is slated to hit country radio late this year. As part of the Arista Nashville roster, Anderson joins a slate of established hitmakers and rising stars, including Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, Brad Paisley, Diamond Rio, Phil Vassar, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Rebecca Lynn Howard, and newcomer Morgane Hayes.
