NASHVILLE, TN. (www.ccma.org) - The Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Awards Show will take place in Edmonton at Rexall Place on Monday, Sept. 13 and will be broadcast live in both Canada and on CMT in the United States. Toby Keith and Gretchen Wilson are scheduled to perform their latest hits, along with great Canadian artists like Doc Walker, Emerson Drive, Carolyn Dawn Johnson and Jason McCoy. CCMA has confirmed that Awards Show Host Paul Brandt will kick off this year's country music celebration with a performance of his latest single, C.W. McCall's 1976 hit "Convoy." The show will also feature a collaborative performance by Roots Award nominees Blackie & The Rodeo Kings and Edmonton's Corb Lund Band and Sean Hogan in a very special salute to the 2004 Hall of Fame inductees with the legendary Canadian band The Good Brothers.

The 2004 Canadian Country Music Awards will be broadcast on Monday, Sept., 13 on CBC in Canada and simulcast on CMT in the US at 8 p.m. Eastern / Pacific/ 7 p.m. Central. Encore presentations are scheduled for CMT in Canada.
