NEW YORK (Artemis Records) - Artemis recording artist Steve Earle debuts at No 89 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart (with over 13,000 units sold) with his new album THE REVOLUTION STARTS NOW. The album also debuted in the Top Ten on the Billboard Independent Album Chart at No 7, and in the Top 15 on the Billboard Country Album Chart at No 12.
Earle's new album is also the No 1 selling Country record on iTunes this week and hit as No 11 on the overall iTunes album charts.

Earle has been on a hectic promotional schedule for the past month in support of his new album. His calendar has included packed in-store appearances/signings, daily radio and press junkets and the taping of his new radio show on Air America. Earle's Air America Radio show, also entitled "The Revolution Starts Now" airs weekly on Sunday nights at 10:00PM and upcoming guests include Janeane Garofalo and Tom Morello of Audioslave.

THE REVOLUTION STARTS NOW has earned rave reviews from the press. Rolling Stone called it "one of the year's best albums" and gave the record a 4 star review. Earle is featured in a 2-page in-depth interview in the current issue of Rolling Stone on stands now.
Blender also gave the album a 4 star review and Spin gave it an A-.
The New York Daily News stated "Earle remains one of the best vocalists we've got. His gruff singing expresses weariness, sarcasm, disgust and ultimately, a vulnerable hope."

The first single from the album, also entitled "The Revolution Starts Now", is gaining serious momentum at AAA.
It is currently in rotation at AAA giants New York City's WFUV, Chicago's WXRT, Philadelphia's WXPN, WDET in Detroit, amongst others.
The single is currently No 14 on the R&R Indicator chart.
