New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Roadrunner Records) A private jet carrying Ratt and Dokken had to make an emergency landing in Moline, Illinois after smoke was detected in the cabin. The Associated Press reported this weekend that the plane took off from the Moline, Illinois airport early Saturday afternoon, but pilots were forced to turn around when smoke appeared in the cockpit at 7,000 feet.
The members of Ratt tweeted that they "just made an emergency landing after a fire in the cockpit. We are ok!" and posted the photo seen here on their Facebook page.
The plane landed safely, and there were no injuries reported by the pilot or the 13 passengers. The bands rode to their next show, in the Chicago suburb of Wauconda, via SUV.
