Avenged Sevenfold Set To Knock Richard And Adam Off No 1
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts) Avenged Sevenfold are on course for their first ever Number 1 UK album this weekend with Hail To The King.

According to the Official Charts Company, the band who released their sixth studio album on Monday (August 26), looks set to end Britain's Got Talent stars Richard And Adam's four-week-stand at the top of the Official Albums Chart.
It will be A7X's highest charting UK album to date; its predecessor, 2010's Nightmare , reached Number 5.
Lead track ' Hail To The King' has notched up over 5.5 MILLION views so far.

The band played a free show for their fans at Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on Monday, and will be touring the UK in Nov/Dec.

In other news the band has contributed their track 'Shepherds on Fire' to the cinematic video for the new Call of Duty: Black Ops II game - "Origins"

They have also hooked up with MACHINIMA for a six-episode animated series, which tells the fictional story of the Death Bat - the band's longtime trademark. It will air later this year on the YouTube.com/HappyHour channel.
