In 2011, Mashable posted a link to their interactive music video for a track called "How Does It Feel to Be in Love?" which subsequently caused their website to crash from so much traffic. The duo of Matt Jatkola and Mike Champ combined efforts with Grammy award-winning engineer Adam Taylor (Portugal. The Man, Bodega Girls, Cave In), Anthony Saffery (Cornershop), and Abe Seiferth (Yeasayer), to produce a fusion of edgy guitars, heavy electronics and danceability on X vs. X.
