Dance Synth Pop Act, The Bynars, Announce National Tour
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Green Light Go) The Bynars announce the first 17 dates of upcoming tour full of daringly futuristic, synth-heavy pop beats in support of their forthcoming album, X vs X (due out 9/17). The tour will be topped off in December at New York's Bowery Ballroom with The Front Bottoms. The perfect combo for those looking to spend the night with some infectiously, fun music.

"The Bynars are one of the best live outfits in Boston now, well representing experimental rock and electro-pop. Dig those guys!"- Ryan's Smashing Life

The Bynars have shared the stage with notable acts, fun., AM & Shawn Lee and Math the Band. They've received comparisons to Weezer, The Rentals, and Passion Pit from the likes of The Boston Globe and Ryan's Smashing Life. In 2011, Mashable posted a link to their interactive music video for a track called "How Does It Feel to Be in Love?" which subsequently caused their website to crash from so much traffic. The duo of Matt Jatkola and Mike Champ combined efforts with Grammy award-winning engineer Adam Taylor (Portugal. The Man, Bodega Girls, Cave In), Anthony Saffery (Cornershop), and Abe Seiferth (Yeasayer), to produce a fusion of edgy guitars, heavy electronics and danceability on X vs. X.

Praise for The Bynars:

"The Bynars' [debut album] is a sparkly, spiky, adrenalized dash through a Rentals-meets-Passion Pit electro-pop dream that buzzes with Weezer-y guitars, old school new wave synth squiggles, and perky songs about weighty topics like asking your mom for money." - Jonathan Perry - The Boston Globe

"Combining an instinctual ear for pop construction and hook-riddled synth grooves tailor-made to engage the head and the hips, drummer Mike Champ and singer/guitarist Matt Jatkola churn out melodic pop songs that lodge themselves deep within your cerebral cortex." - Joshua Pickard - Beats Per Minute

"Chair dancing to these songs is a certainty." - Music Savage

"Contagious, danceable rock." - Top40-Charts.com
