Incubus Frontman Brings "Evocative" New Music/Book To NYC 9/30
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Brandon Boyd, frontman of platinum-selling rock band Incubus, will discuss and sign his new book, 'So the Echo,' and his new album, 'Sons of the Sea,' at Barnes & Noble in Tribeca on Monday, September 30 at 6pm.

'So the Echo,' Boyd's third book, compiles his ink drawings, watercolors, collages, photography and writing from the past four years. The works center on whimsical, fantastical figures and recall the art of Aubrey Beardsley. According to Complex Magazine, the "evocative sketches depict characters that seem to spring from the page," and Boyd's "controlled lines and touches of color demonstrate a skilled confidence."

'Sons of the Sea,' to be released concurrently with 'So the Echo,' is the debut full-length album from Boyd's musical project of the same name. With co-writer and producer Brendan O'Brien (Incubus, Pearl Jam, The Killers, Rage Against the Machine), Boyd merges "the sounds of the Beach Boys and Harry Nilsson" (USA Today) with the alternative rock he's pioneered over two decades. The "elegant, nuanced pop songs," Billboard says, "show rock influence yet ultimately live outside of the genre."
