New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Roadrunner Records) Jim Root, guitarist for Slipknot and Stone Sour, will be releasing the two-DVD, five-hour The Sound and the Story in December 2013.
The set, released through Fret12.com, will include a one-hour documentary in which Jim tells his own story, and instructional footage covering 11 of his most popular songs and solos from both Slipknot and Stone Sour. Watch a trailer for the set below.
