LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts) Interpol mark their highly anticipated return with the news that they will be headlining the NME Awards Tour 2014, one of the most important events in the music calendar.
Kicking off at Glasgow's O2 Academy on March 18 before travelling to Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Nottingham, Birmingham, Bristol and closing at London's O2 Academy Brixton on March 27, the legendary NYC group will be joined by Temples,
Royal Blood and Circa Waves on this eight date tour of the UK.

Interpol will perform tracks from their prestigious back catalogue, plus brand new tracks from their forthcoming fifth studio album, which will be released later this year.

The NME Awards Tour 2014 with Austin,
Texas concludes two months of awe inspiring music events from the 2014 NME Awards season, including the NME Awards Shows which kick off on 3 February running up until 25 February at venues across London and the NME Awards 2014 night on the 26 February at London's O2 Academy Brixton.
Interpol will release their fifth studio album later this year. Further details of the new album will be released shortly. The group's last studio album "
Interpol" was released in 2010.
