DETROIT, MI. (Psychopathic Records) - The painted ones have scored a major coup with the release of Hell's Pit, (Psychopathic Records/Sony Red Distribution) the sixth and final CD of the Joker's Card series. The 2-disc set features a 13-track music CD and one of two versions of the DVD: Version A features a one-hour concert from Red Rocks, with a bonus 13-minute video collage. Version B contains the first music video filmed in high definition 3D (glasses included) along with a 20-minute movie.
Hells Pit also debuted at No 1 on Billboard's Top
Internet Albums Chart and No 12 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart.
First weeks sales topped 74,000 out of the box, all without benefit of major radio or video airplay. We're very happy to see that after 12 years of making music, ICP are still on top of the underground music scene. Says Alex Abbiss, President and CEO, Psychopathic Records, Inc.
Niagara Falls Dome Theatre is the first stop on the 44-date tour that will take Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope from Coast-to-Coast and everywhere in between. Mack-10, Esham (replacing Mushroomhead) and APK will be supporting. Tickets are on sale at the usual outlets.
