The music and audiobook publisher andante media HÖRARCHIV has today released its iOS 7 update of the iOS app "ClassiCal Music Calendar". The German and English language version of the iPhone app are available in more than 100 countries around the world. Certainly iOS 6 installations will still be supported. By the way andante media decided to simplify the typing of the name of the app.
"ClassiCal" provides access to the enormous music archive of one of the largest independent rights owners within the German-speaking area. The archive includes classical music recordings from more than 40 years of music history from the 20th century.
Well-known and established European orchestras, distinguished soloists, ensembles and conductors as well as international award winners take listeners on a comprehensive journey through the world of classical music.
From the must haves to very rare recordings, "ClassiCal" presents true pearls of classical music 365 days of the year. The daily view of the calendar currently contains the anniversaries of the births and deaths of over 400 composers from more than 25 countries and will be permanently extended.
"ClassiCal is kind of like those chocolate eggs for kids with a surprise toy in the middle - only it's for lovers of classical music", says Diana Ziegler, the owner and publishing director of andante media. The fully integrated music player with its various options for sorting the tracks helps users to manage the permanently growing music library's songs.
"ClassiCal Music Calendar" is available as an iPhone app - a version for the iPad will follow. Localized language versions are currently being created and will be released step by step all around the globe.
