MONTEREY, CA. (Top40 Charts) - A Mexican pop star with ties to the Valley is out of prison and now reunited with her family. After years of hiding from authorities and then spending time behind bars, Gloria Trevi was cleared of rape and kidnapping charges by a judge in Monterrey.
Her mom and 4-year old son left their home in Mission today to meet up with Trevi in Monterrey.

Trevi was once considered the "Madonna" of Mexico but it could be months before she returns to show business. She still faces criminal complaints in Mexico City and a possible appeal by prosecutors.
