NASHVILLE, TN. (Webster PR) - The Executive Committee of the International Entertainment Buyer's Association (ieba) has announced the talent confirmed of
Dennis DeYoung (formerly of STYX) to perform on Tuesday, October 12th at 10:00 am as part of the 34th Annual Conference agenda.
Air Supply will also take part in the iebaLIVE! Conference when they perform at the NATD Breakfast on Wednesday, October 13th at 9:00 am at the Wildhorse Saloon. iebaLIVE! will be held at the Hilton Suites-Downtown Nashville October 9 -13 2004. The initiative of the annual event is to bring ieba members together in an interactive and educational forum.
ABOUT DENNIS DEYOUNG:
For over 4 decades, Dennis DeYoung has been a singer, songwriter, keyboardist and founding member of the rock group Styx. Styx sold over 35 million albums and scored ten Top Ten singles worldwide. It was the only band to ever record four consecutive triple platinum albums.
As a singer and songwriter, DeYoung has sung and written such rock classics as: Lady, Come Sail Away, Best of Times, Mr. Roboto, Show Me the Way, The Grand Illusion, Don't Let It End and People's Choice Award Winner, Babe. The iebaLIVE! Showcase will be held Monday, October 11, from 6:00 - 10:00 PM at RCKTWN, one of Nashville's hottest downtown night clubs. Sponsored by Buddy Lee Attractions, the showcase will feature performances by Trent Willmon, B5, Jedd Hughes, Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, David Lee Murphy, Billy Currington and John Waite. The event will be emceed by entertainers Chris & Preston.
To close the event, Neal McCoy will host the iebaLIVE! Awards Banquet on Tuesday evening during which Florence Henderson will be presented the Humanitarian Award and the Founder's Award will be presented to Bobby Baker.
