The news was revealed by
Danielle Couchman on MTV's new Official Streaming Chart show, which was broadcast for the first time on the network's MTV
Music channel between 5 and 7pm this afternoon. The Top 20 countdown will also be broadcast on MTV Hits and VIVA.
The Official Streaming Chart is the first and only chart of its kind, and is based on audio streams generated by a range of services serving the UK including Spotify, Deezer, Napster, Bloom FM and O2 Tracks among others. The chart covers streams across seven days, from 00:01 Sunday to midnight Saturday every week.
Aloe Blacc, who debuted at Number 1 on the sales-based Official Singles Chart two weeks ago with his latest single, The Man, climbs 23 places to Number 3 on this week's Official Streaming Chart. Pharrell Williams' Happy, which has spent 18 weeks on the Chart, slides one place to Number 4 today, while Katy Perry's Dark Horse completes this week's Top 5, sliding one place to Number 5.
There are five new entries on this week's Official Streaming Chart with Australian rapper
Iggy Azalea leading the charge with her new single, Fancy. The track, which also features Charli XCX, enters the Top 100 at 71.
Paolo Nutini makes his Official Streaming Chart debut today with Scream (Funk My Life Up) at 82, while
DJ Snake and Lil Jon's Turn Down For What debuts a few places behind him at 85.
This week's new entries are completed by John Martin's Anywhere For You (87) and Josh Gad's InSummer from Disney's Frozen (100).
