Mongrel Announces Concert Dates In The Northeast
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Mongrel official website) The always fun and energetic live show of Boston-based Mongrel is taking to the road once again. This female-fronted metal/punk band has announced six new concert dates in the northeastern United States in support of their new EP entitled Evolution.

While Evolution won't be officially released until June 3rd, Mongrel is hosting a pre-release party in Cambridge, MA to kick off their tour on May 16th; and YES, copies of the new CD will be available for purchase at the show. Below are the six new tour dates that Mongrel has announced:

May 16 - Cambridge, MA - Middle East Restaurant and Night Club - 8:00 pm
May 30 - Manchester, NH - Mad Bob's Saloon - 8:00 pm
June 7 - New York, NY - R Bar - 8:00 pm
June 21 - Haverhill, MA - Limelight Lounge - 8:00pm
June 28 - Providence, RI - Simon's 677 - 4:00 pm
July 26 - Salisbury, MA - Uncle Eddie's Oceanside Tavern - 6:00 pm

A Mongrel performance is something that every fan of punk, metal, or just hard rock in general, should experience. Piggy D, bassist for Rob Zombie, said "If anybody knows about musical car crashes it's me! Mongrel embodies all that is great about punk rock. Their music sweats pure angst, driven by an audible destruction that is in rare form these days. And then there's the live show...wear a helmet!"

Don't miss this opportunity to catch the pure energy that is Mongrel live. Led by singer Jessica Sierra, who draws comparisons to the likes of Janis Joplin and Wendy Williams, Mongrel will captivate your attention and entertain you all night long. Get out, get in the crowd, and listen as Mongrel becomes your new favorite band.

Physical copies of the new Evolution EP will be available to fans at all shows beginning with the May 16th date, and will be available online through an iTunes pre-release exclusive starting on May 20th. Evolution will be released broadly on June 3rd, when the EP will be available online through all major download and streaming services. CDs will be carried by select stores. Look for more tour dates to be added throughout the summer. For more information visit UnableRecords.com/Mongrel.
