Fire In The Radio Announce Performance At Fest 15; Launch Spring Tour; Begin Work On New EP
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Philadelphias Fire in the Radio have announced they will be performing at this years Fest 15 alongside several other notable punk and indie bands, including Propagandhi, Dillinger Four, Braid, The Menzingers and more. Fest 15 takes place on October 28-30 in Gainesville, Florida.

In addition, today the band kicks off a series of May tour dates in further support of last years acclaimed record Telemetry:
May 20 Young Ones Records, Kutztown, PA
May 21 The Smiling Moose, Pittsburgh PA (w/ Digger, Rebuilding Year, Dead Batteries)
May 22 The Fire, Philadelphia, PA (w/ Grayscale, His Dream of Lions, Under Fire)
May 24 Bugjar, Rochester, NY (w/ Ghost Righter, Through the Crowd)

Following the tour, the band will be returning to the studio at Gradwell House Recordings (Into It. Over It., Beach Slang, Foxing) to begin work on a new EP that will be released this fall and coincide with their performance at Fest.

SELECTED PRESS:

"The Philadelphia scene has always been pretty vibrant; the rest of the world has just finally started to notice it. The past few years have seen everyone from The Menzingers and Beach Slang to Modern Baseball and Restorations impress with wildly original albums. Based on their stellar debut, Telemetryreleased in May on Wednesday RecordsFire In The Radio is the latest Philly band to keep the streak alive." - New Noise Magazine

With the hooks of Gaslight Anthem, The leads of The Menzingers, and the melodies of classic melodic punk, Fire In The Radio combines their elements to form their new album, Telemetry....Fire In The Radio might just be the catchiest band in their genre. Their melodic songs are filled with powerful riffs and emotional vocals. Telemetry is a testimony to Fire In The Radios strength to write indulgently catchy songs that will never lose their luster." - PunkNews.org

A melodic punk supergroup of sorts, Fire In The Radio are a band of punk and hardcore lifers whove pooled their resumes into an exceptionally catchy, well-written record, Telemetry. Think Samiam, late-period Jawbreaker, even Saves The Day." - Half Cloth

Line-up: Richard Carbone (vocals, guitar), Adam Caldwell (drums), Jon Miller (vocals, guitar) and Ed Olsen (bass).
