'Renaissance Man' is a phenomenal debut that highlights impeccable musicianship and proves that each member of Jaimoe's Jasssz Band is a master of classic rhythm and blues, soulful rock and roll and jazz.
Jaimoe's influence on the
Allman Brothers Band can be heard throughout the ten tracks on 'Renaissance Man.' The album features a cover of the classic song "
Melissa" as a bossa nova and the track "
Dilemma" sounds like it came straight out of a 1969 Allman Brothers session. The music will also resonate with fans of Allen Toussaint and Bill Withers.
