Anthony Nova Releases Salsa Version Of Daft Punk's 'Get Lucky'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Antony Nova was born in Chicago, Illinois. Soon thereafter, his family moved to Puerto Rico. This is where Antony began to evolve. During his early youth, like every other person on the island, was exposed to the international phenomenon known as Salsa. His passion for music and Salsa began to rapidly develop during these years. While attending church, he began singing with the church groups, while at the same time learning how to play piano. In 1995, his family packed up and made the move back to the states, this time settling in the warm climates of Tampa, Florida. Here he would continue his musical journey and growth as an artist. Upon graduation from East Bay High School in Tampa, Antony and long time friend, Joseph "Joerock" Serrano formed a group called ABOVE DA REST.

ABOVE DA REST has performed over 500 live shows, while opening up for many nationally and internationally recognized acts. Today, ABOVE DA REST still exists and performs, while Antony pursues his dream as a singer/songwriter. Antony's natural talents as a singer/songwriter and producer always showed through in his personality, even as a young kid. He credits his passion for Music with some of his musical idols such as the likes of Marc Anthony, Eddie Santiago, Brian McKnight, and the late Frankie Ruiz. Musically, he interchanges romantic themes, ideally for the Tropical, Latin Pop, Pop, R&B and Hip-Hop genres. His latin roots finally connected him with salsa group A&C La Banda, where he had a great deal of success alongside executive producer, Carlo Kural. With A&C La Banda Antony toured nationally and internationally. A&C La Banda received a nomination for Premio Lo Nuestro for "Revelacion del Año".

Currently, Antony resides in Charlotte, North Carolina where he has teamed up with music producer Tim Walls, also known as "Krazy Figz." Together, they write and compose music for several artists as ghostwriters. Currently Antony has finished his first "Salsa Tropical" album called "Phases of Love", created at Dr. Voice Studio owned by Joe Sandos, with producers Gino Picart, Alberto "Cuquito" Reyes, Tony Castillo known as TC, and executive producer Carlo Kural. Antony has just released his second single called El Amor es Ciego , and the super hit song Get Lucky (salsa) . When asked about how all the hard work and dedication is paying off towards his pursuit as an established and successful Singer/songwriter, Antony was quoted in saying, "With the perseverance and discipline I have developed over the years, there is no stopping the inevitable."A success is in the making….coming to a radio, and venue near you!
