New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Beyoncé is getting extra charitable tonight by jumping on a remix of "Mi Gente" by J Balvin and Willy William. The new remix dropped on Thursday night (Sept. 28), and Bey announced that she would be donating her proceeds from the song to hurricane and earthquake relief charities including CEMA, UNICEF, and Somos Una Voz for Puerto Rico, Mexico, and other affected Caribbean islands.
Over the Willy William-produced banger, the mother of 3 flexes her bilingual chops. "La fiesta la llevo en mis genes," she sings. "Yo soy la reina de los nenes / Mi gente no se detiene aqui nadie se quiere ir."
Queen Bey can be heard throughout the whole remix and also dropped a provocative second verse in English where she talks about giving birth and her double Ds. "He say my body stay wetter than the ocean / And he say the creole in my body is like a potion," she sings. "I can be a beast or I can give you emotion / But please don't question my devotion / I been giving birth on these haters 'cause I'm fertile / See these double C's on this bag (Murda) / He want my double D's in his bed (Serta) / If you really love me make an album about me (word up)."
Bey sure knows how to flex on 'em!
