LOS ANGELES,CA. (Top40 Charts/ EliasArts Holdings) - EliasArts Holdings LLC, https://www.eliasarts.com, the world's biggest and most awarded commercial music company has yet another in-house artist being recognized by the industry at large as a fresh, vibrant, up-and-coming talent.
Nathaniel Morgan, Senior Composer, EliasArts LA, was recently chosen "Best New Composer" in the First Boards Awards 2007, from a field of global entries.
The eighth annual competition of its kind, First Boards Awards 2007 sought out the "new crop of future stars" and drew candidates from Australia to South America, the US to the UK and Canada. As Best New Composer, Morgan, along with winners in other categories including Best Director, Best Producer and Best Editor, was recently feted by leaders in the fields of advertising, music, television, production and film at a luncheon held at Los Angeles' Key Club.
After studying classical percussion and electro-acoustic music at Dartmouth College, Morgan, 29, joined EliasArts as a dub-room assistant. It was not long before the illustrious Jonathan Elias - Founder and Chief Creative Officer of EliasArts - took note of Nate's unique talent and strong work ethic, and hand-chose him to work as his first engineer and drum programmer for Marcus Nispel's feature film The Pathfinder. Mentored by Jonathan and inspired by his renowned collection of work, Nate soon began writing "everything from rock to electronic to orchestral tracks" and was awarded several high profile projects including Xbox's "Cops and Robbers," Nike's "B-Clutch," Infinity's "Beyond Anthemic," and Adidas' "Take Five." "Nate has the combination of a very strong rhythmic sense and an instinctive melodic sense. It's very rare to find both at such a high level, in the same person. It's a gift," says Elias.
Whether composing strong, emotional and haunting orchestral tracks or more rhythmic and percussive arrangements, Nate's work is both diverse and cutting edge. Martin Pazzani, CEO of EliasArts says, "It comes as no surprise that Nate's distinctive approach is gaining critical acclaim and we are very happy that his talents are being recognized with this honor."
