New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Estrella Media, a leading Spanish language multi-platform media company, today announced the nominations for its 2021 Premios de la
Radio event, which will be broadcast on Wednesday, November 10 from 8 p.m./7 p.m. CT from the Foro Expo
Santa Fe in Mexico City. TV Azteca, one of the two largest producers of Spanish-language television programming in the world, will provide production services for this year's event and will broadcast it in Mexico.
Premios de la
Radio is the leading awards show for Regional Mexican music artists and groups, and nominees for the 16 awards were announced today. Leading the nominations is Grupo Firme with eight nominations including Artist of the Year, Norteño Group of the Year, Band Song of the Year (two nominations), Norteño Song of the Year, Collaboration of the Year (two nominations) and the Latin Pride Award.
Ángela Aguilar led the female nominees with five nominations including Artist of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, Mariachi Song of the Year, Collaboration of the Year, and the Latin Pride Award.
TV Azteca will provide production services for the live awards event in Mexico City and it will be broadcast live in the U.S. on EstrellaTV and in Mexico on TV Azteca. Hosts for the event are Don Cheto, Ana Bárbara, Chiquis, Capi Pérez, Paty Navidad and Pepe Garza. Garza is the
Director of Premios de la Radio.
