Post Malone & 21 Savage's 'Rockstar' Tops Hot 100
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Post Malone's "Rockstar," featuring 21 Savage, hits No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (dated Oct. 28), marking the first leader for each artist. It is the first No. 1 for both Posty and the Slaughter Gang MC. Malone had previously peaked at No. 8 with "Congratulations" featuring Quavo, while Savage soared as high as No. 12 with "Bank Account."
The track is the fifth rap No. 1 of 2017, tying for the most in a single year. "Rockstar" follows "Bodak," "DJ Khaled's "I'm the One," Kendrick Lamar's "HUMBLE.," and Migos' "Bad and Boujee." Each song was also the artist's first Hot 100-topper.

The last time this many rap songs reigned was 2006, thanks to D4L's "Laffy Taffy," Nelly's "Grillz," Sean Paul's "Temperature," Chamillionaire's "Ridin'," and Ludacris' "Money Maker." The same number of rap songs appeared atop the Hot 100 in 2003 and 2004, as well.

Elsewhere on the chart, "Bodak" drops to No. 2, Logic's "1-800-273-8255" (featuring Alessia Cara and Khalid) appears at No. 3, J Balvin, Willy William's Beyoncé-assisted "Mi Gente" dips 3-6, Sam Smith's "Too Good at Goodbyes" jumps 13-7, and French Montana's "Unforgettable" (with Swae Lee) holds steady at No. 10.

Billboard Hot 100 Top 10:
1. Post Malone feat. 21 Savage - "rockstar"
2. Cardi B - "Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)"
3. Logic feat. Alessia Cara & Khalid - "1-800-273-8255"
4. Taylor Swift - "Look What You Made Me Do"
5. Portugal. The Man - "Feel It Still"
6. J Balvin & Willy William feat. Beyoncé - "Mi Gente"
7. Sam Smith - "Too Good at Goodbyes"
8. Imagine Dragons - "Thunder"
9. Demi Lovato - "Sorry Not Sorry"
10. French Montana feat. Swae Lee - "Unforgettable"
