Music Awards (IAMA) event based in Los Angeles County.
"The objective of The Indee Artist
Music Awards is to do what the other awards events rarely do these days � to recognize artistry without the music politics & payola involved in the Awards Arena. We will devote significant resources to developing our Independent Artists Awards and introducing the event to a mass market," says CEO Lupe Rose, who is well known for being the person who helped reinvent Cece Peniston.
Rose has a long track record of working with major and Independent artists such as Nick Cannon, Whitney Houston, and many more. The music label has also worked with major labels such as Sony, EMI, Interscope Records, Warner Chappell, Geffen Records, Universal
Music Group, and several others.
Founded by Lupe Rose, the idea of the Indee Artist
Music Awards is to publicly acknowledge and reward outstanding achievements by members of the independent society in the various fields of the music industry globally. The first Indee Artist
Music Award ceremony was held in 2008 at the DI of Lancaster California.
"Our vision is to motivate the independent artists to continue contributing to the legacy of music, and acknowledge their work. Our mission is to promote and expose talent nationally and internationally, give added support to the independent music artists and labels, and support talent through advocacy, marketing, and opening profitable channels," explains Rose.
Due to the sell-out crowd, the event grew from a 300-seater venue to a 12,000-seater venue in just eight short years. Thanks to overwhelming response from the Independent community, the IAMA has decided to open its doors and allow not only Independent Artists but also Independent Labels to participate in their illustrious event.

The IAMA will also present INDEE WEEKEND, dedicated to Independent Artists, education through music conferences, important meet and greets with
Music Labels,
Private Independent Celebrity parties, and so much more to be announced. Additional events surrounding the Awards, Ticket Sales, Celebrity Gifting Suite, Merchandising and much more to be announced. This will be a televised event.
Eliminating music politics, the IAMA will continue to educate and introduce a breath of fresh air to an Awards
Industry that is currently driven on popularity. The Independent Artist
