NEW YORK, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Decca Label Group) - Worldwide superstar Andrea Bocelli is on a global promotional trek in support of his forthcoming new CD, Incanto, set for release on November 4th on Decca. Filled with power and passion, Incanto is one of Andrea's most romantic outings yet, celebrating the musical heritage and rich culture of his native Italy. The first U.S. promotional appearance for Incanto will be an exclusive performance with friend and Grammy-winning producer, David Foster on The Oprah Winfrey Show, airing live on Friday, October 31st. Additional TV performances later this fall include Good Morning America and CBS Early Show among others. On October 24th, the beloved singer kicked off his worldwide CD launch with a historic concert in Naples, Italy in front of an audience of 80,000 people at the elegant Piazza del Plebiscito. While the concert was broadcast live to the nation, it was also captured for U.S. audiences as an exclusive radio broadcast - details to be announced soon. This one-of-a-kind concert showcases highlights from the forthcoming Incanto, and the timeless Neapolitan classics so dear to the singer's heart. Bocelli comments, "These songs have been part of my life since I was a child." Tel Aviv, Israel was the next stop on Bocelli's worldwide trek on October 27th for "Believe - A Peace Concert," which celebrated a decade of peace-building and the 10th anniversary of The Peres Center for Peace. Andrea performed a stirring ballad co-written by the distinguished President Peres and international singer Liel, entitled "Ray of Hope." Additional artists who shared the stage for this memorable event were Academy Award-winner and Argentine musician Gustavo Santalaolla, American Idol favorite Elliot Yamin, celebrated saxophonist Dave Koz and songwriting superstar Diane Warren among others.
