Miami, FL (Top40 Charts) Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes announce the release of the Coast 2 Coast Mixtape Vol. 224. The 30 track project is hosted by Kendrick Lamar and mixed by DJ September 7th. The mixtape is now available for download and features various artists including Kendrick Lamar, T.I., Andre 3000, Big Boi, Ludacris, A$AP Rocky, and various indie hip-hop artists.

Kendrick Lamar is hip-hop artist from Compton, California. He is signed to Top Dawg Entertainment, Aftermath and Interscope. Along with his solo endeavors, he is also a member of the hip-hop group Black Hippy with label mates Jay Rock, ScHoolboy Q, and Ab-Soul. Although he released his first mixtape at 16, he didn't gain major attention until 2010 with his fourth mixtape "Overly Dedicated." A year later, he released his first independent album "Section 80" which ranked as one of the top digital hip-hop releases of the year. To date, Lamar has received a lot of attention and praise from the hip-hop industry. He has worked with Dr. Dre, Drake, Lady Gaga, Young Jeezy, Talib Kweli, Busta Rhymes, E-40, Warren G, Bun B, Tech N9ne, Lil Wayne and more. His first major label studio album "Good Kid M.A.A.D. City" was released in October of this year and sold 242,122 copies in the first week. Currently the album has been Certified Gold by RIAA among other accolades.
