Flutist Cocomi's Second Album Set To Be Released On November 1, 2023
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Flutist Cocomi, who has been garnering attention both domestically and internationally since her world debut on the esteemed New York label DECCA GOLD, is set to release her second album, Mélancolie (pronounced as 'melancholy'), on November 1, 2023.
Today marks the start of the release of its lead track, "Arabesque."

Mélancolie is a collection of pieces that delve into the works of three French composers Cocomi has been working on in recent years. The album comprises nine pieces, including Debussy's "Beau soir," an arranged version of Poulenc's "Le Disparu " for flute and piano, and Faure's "Berceuse" and "Pavane," among others.

Cocomi captures the essence and nuances of these classic French compositions through her interpretations. Joining Cocomi on piano is the internationally acclaimed pianist Niu Niu, who has worked on her debut album and at her debut recital last year.

Regarding the album, Cocomi says, "I put together pieces that evoke feelings of sadness and nostalgia. The artwork also carries a distinct French essence since all the compositions are by French composers. I hope you find joy in it."

Cocomi's second recital is scheduled for Saturday, November 11th. Advanced ticket sales will start on Friday, September 8th, with general public sales starting on Sunday, September 10th.
