Alana Lee Gets Ready To 'Synchronize'
LOS ANGELES, CA. (Top40 Charts/ LUCK Media & Marketing) Even as Alana Lee's debut video "Butterflies" keeps flitting around - with an incredible nearly 11 million YouTube views and counting - the multi-talented 14-year-old singer is ready to "Synchronize" with an equally infectious new single, dropping August 18, and a video to follow.

Signed to the innovative Long Beach, California label 37 Records, Lee (www.alanaleemusic.net) has received a flurry of media and online attention recently, with notable coverage and/or interviews in OC Weekly, PopStar Magazine and Suite101.com, in addition to an American Perspective radio interview and a Young Icons TV segment, scheduled to air this September.

The singer also participated in an exclusive "Ice Cream For Breakfast" social and concert event to raise awareness for Give Kids The World Village, a magical resort for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. The event was hosted by Austin Anderson (Nickelodeon) and Savvy & Mandy (Radio Disney).

While the media was focused earlier this year on Rebecca Black's now infamous song and YouTube video "Friday" - also written and produced by ARK Music Factory - Alana was building an enthusiastic fan base of her own with "Butterflies," with a much stronger "like" ratio.

One of Alana's more prominent fans showing love is celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, who featured the video for "Butterflies" on his website Perez TV. The track also broke through into the Top 100 Download charts on iTunes in seven countries.

The label is owned by Steven McClintock, a veteran singer, songwriter and music producer who won a BMI Award for a track in which he produced vocals for '80s teen pop singer Tiffany during her time of superstardom. McClintock also co-wrote "Synchronize" with Grammy-nominated lyricist Pamela Oland.

Alana played a big part in choosing the songs she would record for her EP out of over 100 suggested to her by McClintock. The collection will include "Synchronize," "It's Nothing Personal," "This Is Me," "Drive Me" and "Turn It Up." There will also be a remix of "Butterflies."
