NEW YORK (CMT press release) - CMT will telecast the critically acclaimed BBC documentary series, LOST HIGHWAY: THE HISTORY OF AMERICAN COUNTRY, narrated by Grammy Award-winning Texas singer/songwriter/musician Lyle Lovett. The four-part series, hailed by The Times (London) as "a fascinating road map of the genre," will air on CMT beginning Thursday, Aug. 5 at 8:00 PM, ET/PT.
The series documents America's indigenous musical art form from its origins in the working classes of the Southeast to today's high dollar international industry.
