(Broken Bow Records) - Fourth Annual Celebrity Hunt for a Cure, benefiting Hunter's Dream for a Cure raised more than $65,000 for Sturge-Weber Syndrome, dramatically increasing contributions from the 2003 Hunt with help from celebrities like country music star Craig Morgan. Hunter's Dream for a Cure recently received the "2004 Frances Owens Charities Helping Young Children Award" from Colorado's First Lady. Hunter's Dream for a Cure raises money for children with Sturge-Weber Syndrome, other neurological diseases and programs for special needs children in Colorado. Prior to this event, the foundation had already presented $100,000 to the first and only Sturge-Weber Clinical Research Center at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. In addition, the foundation has given substantial funding to Developmental Pathways for $25,000.00 to fund their new program to help integrate special needs children in Colorado schools and provide them with needed therapy and guidance. Country star Craig Morgan attended this year's "2004 Celebrity Hunt for a Cure" at The RunAway Inn in Joes, CO. Craig performed and donated a personally autographed guitar that was specially designed for him. Craig played this particular guitar on his Broken Bow Records album I LOVE IT. Craig's guitar was auctioned off to the highest bidder, raising $10,000 for the cause. "There is nothing more satisfying than being able to help kids," shares Morgan. "That's why I am always willing to do as much as possible to help raise money for organizations like Hunter's Dream for a Cure because every effort helps make the kids' possibilities even greater."
