NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - Diamond Rio drummer Brian Prout and his new wife, songwriter Stephanie Bentley ("Breathe"), will become parents for the first time this fall. "We are very excited about yet another blessing God has bestowed on us as we are expecting our first child in October," Prout stated through a spokesperson.
Prout and Bentley were married in December 2001.

Prout and the other five members of Diamond Rio received three Academy of Country Music nominations last week for top vocal group, and single and song of the year for their chart-topping hit, "One More Day." In addition, Prout, Dana Williams (bass), Jimmy Olander (guitar), Dan Truman (keyboards), and Gene Johnson (mandolin) garnered nominations for musicianship. Winners will be announced when the Academy Of Country Music Awards airs live on CBS on May 22.
