NASHVILLE, Tenn. (CMA Website) -
Music is in the air all-day and all-night at the 2004 CMA
Music Festival/Fan Fair(R). The legendary 32-year old event takes place
Thursday through Sunday, June 10-13, in Downtown Nashville. With more than 60 hours of performances featuring today's top Country
Music artists, rising stars and legends, "Country Music's Biggest Party(TM)" is the place for music this summer.
Montgomery Gentry and Hank Williams, Jr. bring their partying style to "Country Music's Biggest Party(TM)" and along with The Mavericks and Lee Ann Womack, are the latest additions to the Nightly Concerts at The Coliseum (home of the NFL's Tennessee Titans).
This year marks Williams' first appearance at the festival since 1995. The Curb recording artist has received seven CMA Awards during his career, including back-to-back Entertainer of the Year Awards in 1987 and 1988.
No stranger to football stadiums, the legendary Williams has invited "all his rowdy friends" to watch the NFL games on "Monday Night Football" for the last 14 years.
Columbia recording artist Montgomery Gentry won the CMA Vocal Duo of the Year Award in 2000. The multi-platinum duo will release their highly anticipated fourth album, You Do Your Thing, tomorrow.
The Mavericks were named the CMA Vocal Group of the Year in 1995 and 1996. The band released their latest, self-titled album on Sanctuary Records in 2003.
MCA Nashville recording artist Lee Ann Womack has received three CMA Awards, including Female Vocalist of the Year in 2001. She has recently released her Greatest Hits album.
