NASHVILLE, TN. (Broken Bow Records) - Broken Bow Records hottest new country star JASON ALDEAN will make his Grand Ole Opry debut on Friday, May 13, 2005. Jason will perform on the 7:00pm segment of the show which runs from 6:30-9:00pm this week.

Jason Aldean is set to perform his lead single, "Hicktown," from his forthcoming debut album (scheduled for release late summer of 2005). "Hicktown" was written by Vicky McGehee, John Rich and Big Kenny. The single was the high debut on both country singles charts the week of release and it hits #42 with a bullet on Billboard and #38 with a bullet on R&R this week. Jason will perform a second song on the Opry show from his debut album, "Why," which was written by John Rich, Vicky McGehee and Rodney Clawson.

"I'm excited to be able to perform on the same stage that so many artists who I look up to have played on before," shares Jason Aldean. "It's an honor to have been asked to play on the Grand Ole Opry."

Aldean performs during the Friday night Opry, along with John Conlee, Jean Shepard, Diamond Rio, and more.
