New York, NY (Top40 Charts) John Legend just announced his new sultry single "Love Me Now," the follow-up to his 2013 album Love In The Future. And while he'll officially be unveiling the track tomorrow at 10:30 p.m. ET via Facebook Live, he's already teased a snippet of number on his Instagram.
Set to be released on Friday, Oct. 7, Legend has given us a teaser preview of the song, which he also plans to debut in full on Thursday night at 10:30 p.m. EST on Facebook Live.
"I don't know who's gonna kiss you when I'm gone / So I'm gonna love you now like it's all I have / I know it'll kill me when it's over / I don't want to think about it / I want you to love me now," he sings.
The cover art features an intimate shot of Legend and his supermodel wife, Chrissy Teigen. The couple welcomed their daughter, Luna Simone Stephens, in April.
" Love Me Now" will be the lead single off Legend's forthcoming fifth studio album. It follows 2013's Love in the Future, which was nominated for Best R&B Album at the 2014 Grammy Awards.
