New York, NY (Top40 Charts) After a successful beta program during which Indigo Ultra was rigorously tested by several facilities with actual Hollywood studio content, we are pleased to make it available commercially.
Jargon Technologies announced the commercial availability of Indigo Ultra, a comprehensive authoring platform for Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, and ULTRA HD Blu-ray. Indigo Ultra is based on Panasonic's original authoring platform, and provides a streamlined, easy to use solution for authoring complex next-generation titles.
"After a successful beta program during which Indigo Ultra was rigorously tested by several facilities with actual Hollywood studio content, we are pleased to make it available commercially," said Bhanu Srikanth, CEO of Jargon Technologies. "Based on feedback from our prospective clients, we are making two different versions commercially available, one that produces ULTRA HD Blu-ray complaint images only and a complete one that handles all Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, and ULTRA HD Blu-ray specifications.
"Ultra HD Blu-ray is a critical component of an expanding UHD ecosystem that redefines in-home entertainment through advances in resolution, contrast, color and audio, as well as significant enhancements in content ownership," said Victor Matsuda, chair, BDA Promotions Committee. "Establishing Ultra HD Blu-ray™ workflow and processes requires robust production tools and we are very appreciative of Jargon Technologies' authoring software's significant role in the success of Blu-ray Disc's latest format evolution."
