FRANKLIN, TN (www.worship.net) - The Worship Network launched a newly redesigned and enhanced website this week at www.worship.net, announced Bruce Koblish, president of The Worship Network. The website now more visually reflects the beautiful nature imagery and inspiring music that is characteristic of The Worship Network's signature Worship programming, and www.worship.net now features live streaming of The Worship Network's 24-hour broadcast programming.

'The redesign is more than just a facelift of our website. The enhancements are part of our overall strategy of expanding The Worship Network's impact beyond the broadcast spectrum. We've designed www.worship.net to be both an extension of our broadcast programming as well as a platform to expand the types of daily inspiration and encouragement available from The Worship Network,' said Tim Brown, vice president of Programming, who oversaw the development and design of the new site.

In addition to offering a more visually pleasing site and live streaming, Brown said the improved www.worship.net is more user-friendly, offering streamlined navigation and functionality and an interactive environment that will give visitors reason to regularly visit the website. Some of the other noteworthy features include a robust catalog of video on demand, an active community network with message boards and a prayer network and a cache of media downloads.

'In today's challenging world, I believe The Worship Network's simple yet profoundly important mission of helping people experience God through worship is more important than ever. As we all are spending more and more time at our computers and using them increasingly as media centers, our focus needs to be greater in this area, as another source for the comfort and encouragement our programming provides,' said Koblish.

The Worship Network, which recently moved to the Nashville area from Florida, enlisted Franklin, Tenn.—based Mad Dancer Media for both the website design and hosting. Prior to the website re-design, Mad Dancer Media worked with The Worship Network to provide live web streaming for Gospel Angels: A Concert to Restore Hope, a benefit concert for Hurricane Katrina relief held in Atlanta in September. Mad Dancer has also designed websites and marketing materials for clients such as Word Distribution, Williamson Medical Center, Tennessee Commerce Bank, the Gospel Music Association and WAY-FM.
