Adam's second album 'Trespassing' will be released in spring, along with his first single in the UK, which will be announced in the coming weeks. First look track 'Better Than I Know Myself' has already made an impact- when Adam released the video, it got more than a million hits in 2 days. Adam continues to enjoy a huge amount of support from his army of loyal fans worldwide. The release of the single artwork alone caused a storm on Twitter, trending both in the UK and around the world. Anticipation for Adam's new material was heightened in November of last year following his show-stopping performance with
Queen at the MTV EMA Awards in Belfast, which saw
Adam Lambert trending on Twitter in the UK.
Since then, it has been announced that Adam will perform with
Queen at this years Sonisphere festival on July 7th. He says: "The intention is to pay tribute to Freddie and the band by singing some great songs. It's to keep the music alive for the fans and give it an energy that Freddie would have been proud of. There's no intention in my mind of replacing Freddie. That's impossible. The way I'm choosing to view it is that it's a great honour and one I'm in no way going to shirk ... Being asked to appear with
Queen is the best thing that can possibly happen".
On his last tour in the UK Adam sold out Shepherds Bush
Empire twice while touring his debut album 'For Your Entertainment' which has sold over 1 million copies worldwide. Lambert was nominated for a Grammy for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for 'Whataya Want From Me' in 2010.
