New York, NY (Top40 Charts / Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church) Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church, 5555 N. Federal Highway, invites music lovers of all ages and preferences to connect in various locations on its campus during its 2015-2016 concert series featuring musicians in a variety of genres, from classical to jazz and everything in between. The series includes ten concerts hosted in the church's Sanctuary, Fellowship Hall and Chapel.
"Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church was designed, not only as a house for worship, but also as a venue for concerts," said Chelsea Chen, Artistic
Director of the
Coral Ridge Concert Series. "We cherish musicians and the range of music that reflects their styles, from classical to jazz to modern."
The
Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church 2015-2016 Concert Series will commence on Sunday, October 4, 2015, with a Jazz performance by the Lindsey Blair Quartet, in the church's Fellowship Hall, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Blair is a South Florida resident and nationally renowned Jazz musician. He has received numerous accolades since he took up the guitar at the age of 10, including being named "Best Jazz Musician" in 2011 by Miami New Times.
"Our concert series is a way for us to bring people together to experience beautiful music in beautiful spaces," said Zac Hicks, Pastor of Worship at
Coral Ridge. "Regardless of religion, beauty expressed through music is necessary for the culture of our city to thrive, and we are excited to be able to facilitate this experience for the members of our community, whether they are long-time members or new visitors."
