NEW YORK (African Well Fund/ www.africanwellfund.org) - The African Well Fund is pleased to announce a benefit performance by Jazz for Peace, featuring Rick DellaRatta, in NYC on Sept. 18th. The concert will take place at 6 p.m. at Penang, 204 Columbus Avenue (at 71st St.).

The African Well Fund is excited to have been selected to participate in Jazz for Peace's benefit concert series. A portion of the proceeds from all ticket sales will be donated to the African Well Fund to be used in our mission to bring access to clean water to all the people of Africa. Tickets may be purchased online at www.jazzforpeace.org . Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

Jazz for Peace is a NYC based organization founded by noted jazz pianist and vocalist Rick DellaRatta. Jazz for Peace aims to unite people and break down the barriers of race, creed, culture and religions through the art form of jazz. Over the past year, Jazz for Peace has played over 75 benefit concerts across many of New York's finest jazz venues for numerous non-profit organizations.

The African Well Fund, www.africanwellfund.org is a registered non-profit 501(c)3 organization. AWF was founded to focus on one achievable goal: providing access to clean water. AWF believes that access to safe consumable water is not merely a basic human need but a basic human right. Donations to the African Well Fund are used by our partner Africare for their well building projects in Uganda and Ethiopia.
