Mark Chesnutt continues to show pride in his home state, as he has been named the official spokesperson of the recently established
Texas Country
Music Association (TCMA). The announcement comes after a jam-packed summer of promoting his new album, Tradition Lives, with dozens of live shows throughout
Texas as well as across the U.S.

Linda Wilson, founder of the TCMA. "He is humble and cares about the music, our state and helping others."
The TCMA is an organization dedicated to the promotion and support of both established and new artists, songwriters and musicians from Texas, as well as those who perform in the state. Chesnutt doubles as spokesperson for
Texas Country Cares, the TCMA's charity, which will show the support of the music community in times of need throughout the state.
A native of Beaumont, Texas,
