Teen Country Artist Josey Milner Receives Two 2015 Midwest Music Awards Nominations
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) MTS Management Group is proud to announce Josey Milner has been nominated for Best Country Artist and Song Of The Year ("Cowgirls") at the 2015 Project Backstage Midwest Music Awards. "Cowgirls" is the first country song to be nominated for Song of the Year, in the awards' five-year history. The nominations were announced in a ceremony, held last Saturday, February 21st at Aftershock Live, in Merriam, KS. Josey was previously nominated for Best Female Artist and Artist of the Year, in 2014.

"I'm so excited for Josey," said Michael Stover of MTS Management Group. "These nominations are an affirmation of Josey's hard work and determination this past year. I don't know of a young lady in the industry, who gives it her all, more than Josey. Her fan support has just been incredible, too. 'Cowgirls' did so well on a national and international level, and it's really exciting for Josey to be recognized by Project Backstage among the local talent in the Kansas City area. I hope her fans will get the vote out, and help her bring home a win or two this year!"

Nominations for the Midwest Music Awards were submitted by fans and industry members via the Project Backstage website. The Top 6 vote-getters in each category received final ballot nominations. Voting for the winners will continue until March 2, 2015 at https://www.projectbackstage.com/2015voting.html. Voters may submit only one vote per day. Winners will be announced during a two-day Awards Event on April 10-11, 2015 at Harrah's Voodoo Lounge in Kansas City, MO. For more information, visit https://www.projectbackstage.com.
