SANTA CLARA, CA. (Paramount's Great America) - Mouthwatering carne asada and the vibrant sounds of live Latin music amid the roar of roller coasters await guests at Paramount's Great America's 9th Annual Fiesta Hispana on Sunday, Aug. 6.
Fiesta Hispana is a South Bay tradition that celebrates rich Latin-American culture. Park guests will discover ethnic food vendors throughout the 100-acre park as well as five stages of live entertainment featuring local, regional and international performances of cumbia and banda to mariachi and Spanish Rock.
The daylong celebration concludes with a 4 p.m. concert in the park's 10,000-seat Redwood Amphitheater featuring an artist line-up three times bigger than last year! Performers include Gerardo Fernandez, Mercedes Castro, Los Bondadosos, double-platinum recording artist Graciela Beltran and more!
"People from all around the world live and work in the Bay Area," said Rod Rankin, senior vice president and general manager of Paramount's Great America. "Fiesta Hispana is just one of nearly a dozen ethnic and religious events at Paramount's Great America that embraces the area's vibrant diversity and enables park guests to celebrate and learn about different cultures in a fun theme park setting," added Rankin.
